Tomorrow is the big day. Over 300 merchants from across the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg areas have raised their hands to participate in our third annual Shop Local Day.
Here’s a quick wrap-up of everything you need to know before venturing out to shop tomorrow with your favorite local merchants.
Merchant Offer/Shopping Lists
Chesapeake Bank will be at seven area restaurants passing out Shop Local Day shopping bags tomorrow morning. Don’t forget to come out and help flood these businesses with transactions to help kick off the day. Also, four of those shopping bags will have a $25 gift card to a local business.
We may only be there for an hour, but these establishments will be serving up breakfast during their normal business hours. Here’s where we’ll be tomorrow; note the time in parenthesis, that’s when we’ll be passing out bags and shopping lists.
Shorty’s Diner (8 – 9 a.m.)
Five Forks Café (8 – 9 a.m.)
Juan’s Mexican Café and Cantina (9 – 10 a.m., NOTE: This is a shift in time from our previous post)
Olivia’s in the Village (8:30 – 9:30 a.m.)
Linda’s Diner (9 – 10 a.m.)
Car Wash Café (9 – 10 a.m.)
The Local (8:30 – 9:30 a.m.)
Facebook, tweet, post to Instagram throughout the day and be sure to use the hashtag #ShopLocalDay so we can keep up with your shopping adventures. We want to see your photos, pictures of your favorites purchases and check-ins at your favorite stops.
